It’s been a good day in the nestbox today we still have six chicks and they are getting bigger by the day now
It’s a bit concerning that the dad hasn’t removed the dead mum from the nestbox but I’m not going to intervene at the moment not while the dad is doing a great job of feeding the chicks
It was a sad picture last night seeing them in the nest with out there mum to keep them warm I’ve no idea why the dad won’t take over the night time duties
Fingers crossed all six chicks will make it now we’ve had enough bad news. Thanks mike
