The soft pitter patter of tiny little paws,
Running round and round all over the place.
Their small eyes wide and full of mischief,
As they tackle their brother and not let go.
Little tiny kitten brothers always together,
There isn't a time you'll see them apart.
Surely where you find one in plain sight,
The other is lurking not too far away from them.
They watch hidden in the shadows of furniture,
Waiting for their time to strike and pounce.
Each is full of bountiful amounts of energy,
Energy that never seems to run out during the day.
However at night the pitter patter slows down,
Instead the little kitten brothers curl up for rest.
They lay together with their paws on each other
And before long their innocent eyes close.
Little dreams go through their young minds,
Causing their paws to move during the night.
They have no reason to believe anything wrong,
For in the morning it will be time for them to play again.
