But hair-follicle testing gives evidence regarding a longer period of time than UA drug testing, especially when alcohol is the drug they are testing for. Some people assume that they can defeat the purpose of hair-follicle analysis by shaving their heads, but they do not take into consideration that hair actually grows all over their body.
