So I asked this question on bitcointalk and almost immediately I thought about it and said why not make a post about this on steemit. So here I am guys with my second post on steemit after my #introductorypost.
So I am your typical timid guy and I happen to have got myself in a difficult situation at the moment. Here is what I am facing;
I am a Nigeria who has been jobless a long while and have sort of been living off crypto trading, but since the turn of the year it's been bad tale for me because I picked the worst investments and was a victim of crypto scams.
I think I could have a claim to being worst hit in this crypto bear season.
This has left me in a situation where I am no longer coping with my financial responsibilities.
So that is pretty much what it is that has led me to start looking for how to get some assistance from the crypto community. This has also presented my present predicament of 'risks of sounding awkward'.
I had a strategy when I contacted people for assistance and this was it; leveraging on what I could offer them in return for possible assistance or better still a agreement to work together.
What I had as 'what I could offer them' is a document containing ideas.
Sometime over a year ago I submitted some ideas I had to a crypto team, and after looking through it they were impressed and said they will work on it in the future. Sadly the future never came and recently they told me I was free to share it with other communities.
Armed with this document I contacted about 3 or 4 people from various crypto teams and they said it was all good ideas but they could not work on it. I then asked them to help me financially because I was barely keeping up with life and bam... No more response.
I really didn't blame them, knowing the risk one faces with crypto; maybe they thought I was a scammer or hacker looking big crypto accounts to poach on.
With all this experience it got me wondering how do I ask someone for help and without coming across as awkward?
Your comments are welcomed.
NB:
I am planning on publishing the document of ideas I shared with these guys that found me awkward. So please stay tuned to my channel, also some poetry will becoming from me too.
Thanks for reading and please leave a comment or upvote. Loving this community. Steem on guys!
