Yesterday I had a very pleasant experience which I will like to share. It's very rare such things happen so when they do I like to capture such moments. It was a pleasant morning, I had a very early start since I was expecting some guests so I wanted to finish all the house chores and my personal activities before they arrived.

As always I did my meditation, in the meditation I was feeling this green light all the while around me. It was a very pleasant feeling, the one that cannot be exactly put in words. I was feeling elated. As soon as I finished the meditation and opened my eyes, in that exact moment I heard a flappy sound at my balcony window. I looked around and saw this little bird in green and other shades. It was such a cute little thing and in that little moment I felt like it came as a blessing and a symbol of good luck. As it is I was seeing this green light around me and then this green little bird, which did affirm to me that there was some energy around me. Green color is associated with healing, abundance and Archangel Raphael and I was feeling all of these energies in my space.

After flapping for a while, it went and sat on one of the pots, I could just not stop admiring it. Was sitting for a long time, and I knew that the moment I would open the window it would fly away, so I was watching through the glass. I felt it was hungry and may be in search of food landed here. Very slowly I opened the window and put some food and seeds, and it was still there, but as soon as I closed the window it flew away.

Here in Oman we never see birds like these, not even parrots. Here we only see pigeons and some places crows and sparrows. These kind of birds are not even rare here, you just do not absolutely see them. You will only find them in pet shops in cages. I feel someone must have bought it from the pet shop and probably let it go free. In such a case seeing this bird felt like it directly came from heavens.

I am not superstitious about these things but I do believe in signs from the Universe, and this was surely one sign from the Universe bringing me some good luck. The overall feeling was positive and the timing was just so divine. Experiences like these get etched in my heart forever and it makes me feel more and more connected to the divine power of the Universe.
