What do you do when the sun goes up? Do you hit the snooze button, do you get up and praise the sun, or do you wake up with an unshakable feeling of optimism fuelled by desire? Do you let the sun speak to you or do you let it with everyone else and prefer waking up to spiritual silence?
Alas it is so, whether you've let the sun speak to you or not - you are awake and ready for what stands ahead. Maybe there has been a revelation, from the rays of sunlight. A revelation that has shown thou a precise target to achieve. It could be in the form of a reminder on your google calendar, or through the sombre voice filling the air manifested through alexa, but you have your chores ahead. You have picked up the bow and now off you are to hunt down your goal.
Just like that a thousand more are ready and off to their daily hunting. They say one in a million but they don't say there are 7 billion of us. What are the odds that you'd be one in 7 billion? The only one with the goals and targets. Well, that isn't even remotely possible. Turns out humans are very, very similar to each other. After all we all come from the same backgrounds and live under the same sun. The same sun has been feeding us forever now.
So now you are out there, in the field. Looking at each of your hunt taken down by someone else. Just at the nick of time. As if it would be yours, if you were just a second faster. You now notice all the other people looking at the same goal as you are. Every body armed with their bow and arrow. Some broken, some strong, some special, others not so much. But as much as you want to the goal, so do they. It would have made a difference if you had gotten up just a second earlier. It would have made a difference if you had nocked the arrow, instead of stared at it.
