Today is my birthday.
Also on this day we buried my husband's Great Aunt. Addie B. Climer who passed on Dec 23rd at 89 years old.
She was loved and will be missed by many...
Having no kids of her own, she treated my mother in law, my husband () and my kids as her own. My mother in law (an only child) has had the task of taking care for not only her own parents in their elder years but also her Aunt and Uncle as well. Addie was her last relative on her side of the family.
As a nurse I got to help as a partial caregiver for her in the last few weeks as her health declined. She passed peacefully and without fear and is now with those loved ones that have gone before her.
My kids and
both were close to her and enjoyed their time with her.

Her joy in her elder years was her great great nieces and nephews.
Having grown up in the Great Depression she had a grit and determination that is rarely found in this day and age. She was an active member of The Order Of The Eastern Star as her husband Bill was an active Master Mason. The lodge were present and participated in the funeral rites.
She will be missed but we find solace that she is in Peace.
