I have been reading a lot here on steemit- yeh, i read posts here and I'm glad you are mine right now- and most of posts i have read have been on new year resolutions; what it should consist of, and doing away with negative vibes. Most of which i agreed with and commented on.
Yesterday i commented on a post by on how 'YOU MUST HAVE "HUGE GOALS" IF YOU EVER WANT TO WIN IN LIFE!' I absolutely loved it. You should check it out.
Reading it, however, got me thinking about the little things.
I'm definitely taking advice and planning it big next year; aiming for a million dollars. _ it sounds riduculus, i know, however, like they say 'aim for the stars'_. But, i as i do this, i will not neglect the little things either.
quoted a classic to me today "Little things... there's nothing bigger, is there?"
That being said, we shouldn't neglect those 'little' details in our lives we would like to improve on such as calling loved ones more often, changing our lifestyle for the better, being more conscious of how treat others or even down to how often we brush our teeth.
So, as you go about the new year, work towards achieving all that you can and pay attention to the little things that count- even in your relationships with others. That text could make the other smile for hours, you know.
Because it might not be what will make you 'win in life' but it will make you a better person, which to be me, is the best kind of winning.
Wishing you a prosperous new year ahead!
