how light is preventing us from seeing stars in the night sky. Too much light in cities is blocking our view of the stars.
When I was young, I lived in the countryside. I always saw many stars and even groups of stars. It was very beautiful. Sometimes I saw a star go down with a long light behind it - some people call it a raining star.
But now I live in the city. I do not often see the sky. Or, when I do see the sky, I do not have the same feeling as when I was young.
I never thought that something like lights could cause problems like this. And of course, this affects animals and our skin.
Today, pollution of the environment is more serious all over the world. It is one of the things that covers the stars in the sky.
Last time, I wondered why I always see so many stars when I go back to my hometown. As you know, when we live in cities, air pollution makes a thin dirty layer that covers the sky.
Counting and seeing stars helps me relax when I am studying very hard
