Not every information is a fact. But I see a lot of people passing judgements based on information they have not studied to know if it is a fact or not. To be an accurate thinking individual, you must learn to separate facts from mere information. Then you further separation important facts from unimportant ones.
What is an important fact?
An important fact is any fact that is essential for the attainment of one's definite Chief aim or purpose, or which may be useful or necessary in connection with one's daily occupation. Accurate thinkers don't fall for propaganda because they know how to separate facts from mere information. They do not make snap judgments on other people based on rumours or opinion of somebody.

Accurate thinking helps you make better decisions. Since your decisions are based solely on facts, you stand a chance of not making unnecessary mistakes connected to wrong information.
Accurate thinking helps you concentrate more. Every accurate thinker knows how to focus on those facts that are purely connected to his life's objectives, and not waste his time and energy on important ones.

Accurate thinking saves you from a lot of problems. A lot of people are at war with each other based on misinformation. Since an accurate thinker knows how not to accept rumours, propaganda or malicious information, they stand a better chance of understanding other people's true intentions.
