To paraphrase the the dry wit of Samuel Langhorne Clemens, I too can concur that the reports of my death are greatly exaggerated. Yet I must admit, I hit a rough patch. As the late, great Chet Atkins used to say, the Grim Reaper took a swipe at me...but I ducked.

I dont know if I am out of the woods quite yet, but I dont think I am at the code blue level.

Being a life long asthmatic, this reminded me of the days of my early youth when there were not much in the way of treatment. Laying awake some nights, having to talk myself down to slow my breathing and calm that panic feeling. Damn scary stuff. I wont lie.

So I thought I would drop this little post to explain my absence. I honestly did not even feel like voting on posts. I still am not sure what I have, as I did not go to get tested. As I have not been sick for decades and have every symptom of the virus, I will leave it at that. I believe I am doing better. Yesterday I did not get out of bed. Today it is 5pm and I have not even napped 😁 Not sure if that qualifies as a Beautiful Sunday or a Sublime Sunday, but it is the best I got lol.
