We all know that. You read some stuff about self-help and -motivation, watch inspiring Youtube videos and stuff. You start getting all pumped up, running outside, kicking trees, and trashcans and little children off of their stupid scooters and feel like HULK full of adrenaline and willpower!
You've found your purpose and from now on, everything will change!
Seriously, that's what happened to me. After totally failing at Steemit, I was down. A bit depressed and ready to delete my account in a last act of self-pride.
And then it dawned on me. I had found one last goal and I was close to make it happen. I even wrote an article about all it here on Steemit, since that's what you do when you feel like HULK and want the whole world to know about how great you are.
Well, to make a long story short, that might have completely jinxed it.
You had one job! - Writing a blog-post that will make ZERO cents, sense and upvotes, because, really, making two cents after putting a lot of work into your writings is simply rediculous.
Not even THAT, you damn Steemit! After 27minutes, a sadistic member started to backstab and bully me by the simple click of a button. I can still hear him laughing like a maniac and his imaginary, dark voice follow me into my dreams. Muuahahahahaha! - The moral of the story?
NEVER SET GOALS AGAIN, EVER!!
Even if the only purpose left in your life is to post a random picture of a stick-figure, jumping up and down, making his stick-penis bounce, there's someone on the internet who will "like it" and lay your dreams to waste!
