I know there is quite a few of us that could use a real escape to remember what all nature has to offer. Many tend to forget that there was life pre-technology and slowly but surely the information and knowledge on how to live are forgotten and gone. I have never personally been that big on camping, but I have friends that are really into going every so often to sort of reset themselves. I have been camping and would go, but chances are it was not my idea so I'm just going along with this to be nice and oh yeah I get to take pictures! 😛 I do like going on hikes that are over before sunset. Being into photography, I am into taking pictures of everything, and so I want to stop and touch, smell and take photos of everything I come into contact with, you know as toddlers do. That to me is one great way to getting close to nature! A lot of people tend to think that you need to disconnect from everything when one goes camping or at least some of the people I know seem to try and insist that. Go off the grid to reset one's internal clock.
Personally, I don't think we should have to abandon our technology. I do not mind bringing things along that can and will enhance our outings. Now it should not take over and be the focus of everything instead it should be a tool to either educate, document, video and or pictures... Anyhow, I won't win this debate so I will stop there.
I would like to figure out how to get Steemit out to those who do choose to live almost off the grid so to speak and only use their internet as a tool and not so much for socialising. I think bridging communities would be a fabulous thing that could connect people in a positive and meaningful fashion instead of wasting time. There is an old saying that goes something along the lines of that Time is money! I do tend to get a lot of ideas that I need to start addressing and figuring out how to get them answered. In the meantime, I do hope you enjoy this lovely picture of the beauties of what Mother Nature has to offer. Are you a nature type person?
Oh yeah, this post would not be complete if I did not include a flower picture of some type in my post. Since flowers are one of my favourite things to take photos of and I have countless images of flowers. I shall include one to offset the green from the first picture. If anyone knows me, then they know that I take pictures of flowers, started painting flowers and I even draw them on occasion.
This post consists of two pictures that I disregarded a couple of years ago and thought they were unusable to post, but here I am years later picking them because they are more realistic than the ones I picked first before these. I wonder if I had to grow to be able to see the actual beauty in these photos versus years ago when I thought they were just mainly junk pictures. I usually had at least 2 - 10 images of the same thing but just different captures. It's funny how we change over time. I bet most people don't even realise that they have changed and are not the same as they believe themselves to be. I am finding more beauty in the most straightforward things today, and I wish that I could have been like this years sooner. I believe that I would have had a greater appreciation for some of my experiences and travels. To live and learn which we must all must do.
I think I should go ahead and end here in the post and if you have stuck with me and have read this far then yay and thank you! If you like what you've read and the pictures you have seen then you may want to see my past and future posts like these here:
