I work in a hospital, in a small town on the west coast of Sweden. I work the graveyard shift. Last night i got a call from the head nurse concerning a man talking jibberish in the emergancy room. He was sitting down when i got there. I sat down next to him. I just sat there and listened to him talk about his life. He had lost close family members recently, had been in a car accident and much much more. He had also clearly lost is mind, talking to two other people only he could see, but i was able to decipher this brilliant quote from him in between the jibberish.
"You take the setbacks like a man, and the success like a gentleman."
I didn't know if that was sad or funny, but i felt it.
