Venezuela is currently experiencing a very difficult situation known as the worst crisis the country has had in the last 50 years.
The conditions that we live in Venezuela are not normal, life here is very dramatic and complete madness. Inflation in my country is in continuous growth and is 720% so far this year. By 2018, the International Monetary Fund, which is a global financial institution, estimated an inflation of 2,068.5%, becoming the highest figure ever to be known in the history of this nation and also the highest among a hundred of countries that this agency evaluates in its report.
Due to such high inflation many consequences arise such as food shortages, shortages of basic products and medicines. Parents do not have the goods to feed their children every day, all the basic things that are necessary to live, as well as water and electricity, here in Venezuela are scarce. For this scarce these days many people and animals are dying for not having food and for the lack of medical attention.
Venezuela in the past was a very rich country, having one of the largest reserves of oil and natural gas in the world, in addition to having many mineral resources such as gold, silver, copper, diamonds, among others. Due to its geographic location, the country had the best foreign trade relations with other countries of South America, North America, Asia and Europe. Venezuela for being a tropical country of the Caribbean, has many beaches and beautiful tourist places, where for many years many people came from other countries to spend their vacations and live wonderful moments sharing with the Venezuelans who have always characterized us as very cheerful.
At present, Venezuela has gone from being one of the richest countries to the poorest country in the continent, due to a bad government that has been established in the country for 18 years and that after many changes has become a Dictatorship that attacks the lives of people who oppose the regime of government.
In Venezuela, people can not leave home anywhere because of the high level of insecurity that exists in the streets. In the atmosphere, an atmosphere full of poverty, violence and disturbances is perceived. People have lost their joy, they are filled with hatred and sadness due to tensions and everyday stress. In the institutions that provide services there is a high level of corruption, where those in charge of these institutions always want to defraud people and keep the little money they have.
In this reality in which we live day after day in Venezuela, the people that we long for a change we are obliged to look for a better future to produce and give sustenance to our families, some decide to save money to form a company that allows them to win the livelihood, but in this country the salary in Bolivares is equivalent to $30 USD per month, the ability to save money does not exist and the little money that is earned in the work only reaches so that a person can maintain itself or a small family for a few days.
Many other people have taken the decision to emigrate to another country, but we know that emigrating is a very difficult road to travel but we are determined to face with the purpose of seeking a better future and overcome the chaos in which we live today.
Better times will come, the storm will end and the sun will shine. Those who sow with tears will reap with joy.
