Business as usual around here, even on Father's Day.
Sure, it was a special day, but just to keep things "normal" around here, we took care of some business together as a family. Every time the run water in our mobile home, they can remember today and know that they played a role!
ALL TOGETHER NOW!
To make sure that our tube was long enough, we had to stretch out 300 feet of it. For those "hard to reach" places under the mobile home, Pinkie-Pepper pointed out to me that it would be easier for her to do it, so she replaced me. Sweet girl with a great attitude if you ask me.
Stretching the tube out and making sure that it didn't fill in the trench accidentally can require many helpers. Thankfully, and I have many helpers. Who doesn't love playing in the dirt for a reason?
While it may not be the Grand Canyon, it is still a sight to behold. I was aiming for about two feet deep since it's been known to freeze to about 1.5 feet here, but I'm a bit of an over-achiever sometimes, and this was one of them. If you don't believe me, just check out the next photo.
Yeah, I told you that I went a little deep. Actually, to step on the hose to make sure it is at the bottom of the trench and then fill in the dirt seemed to work out pretty well. Once I knocked a bit onto the tube to hold it still, it was time for more assistance.
At first, they seemed to be enjoying it, but after a while I got suspicious. You can probably tell that it is already getting dark out in the photos, but it seems like the enthusiasm may be running out too. Just check out this next photo,
Honestly, Red-Pepper seems to have lost enthusiasm and Monster-Truck is probably faking it. LOL! In all honesty, they thought that it was a lot of fun. Plus, they know that things like this help our family, and that encourages them too! As usually, it was a dirty job, but someone had to do it! Be blessed this Father's Day!
As always, I'm
