I really notice how staying at home is not good for my creativity and general wellbeing. There is a huge slumber going on and we were just today talking about olive season and it doesn't look good. The trees are not producing this year that many flowers and it's already easy to see that we might have to just go really tight this year if the market price is not good.
Our townhouse downstairs has been converted into a store and we just happened to loose the British tennants and it will be incredible difficult to find anyone to rent it. I wanted to open a japanese style vending machine store for candy, food & beverages, but we are just way too hesitant to put it up as it's huge upfront cost, even when we do not need to pay the rent.
Lots of people have been interested to rent our rental apartment for summer, but since the pool is closed, everyone just backs away. 1 km to the beach is just too long of a distance even when the price is very affordable. Let's see what is going to happen, I hope something good.
Positive thing is that we are still making extra income from secondhand game sales. Not huge sums but couple hundred every month on savings account is better than nothing!
Since I stay so much at home, I decided to do DIY reno on our terrace and we did all the work without hired help. It's now really cozy and perfect for hot summer nights. This will be only reno for this year as I honestly do not know how this year will turn out, but it's not looking good.
Now it's the moment to eyeball some new extra income & just not spend money on anything else than essentials.
