5 years ago, I made one of the best decisions of my life: I adopted my dog Susy.
In my family we had always had pets, especially dogs, but they had all been bought in an animal store. In 2012 my cocker spaniel Dandy died, it was a terrible loss for my family and we decided to take several months to recover.
Even so, we always knew that we wanted to have another pet because they are the joy of a home, they give us company and a lot of love. In 2013 we discovered a place where they took care of street dogs to look for a family. As soon as we arrived, we saw a 3-month-old puppy, very frightened and small, and we immediately knew that we wanted to take care of her.
The adoption of a pet carries with it a lot of responsibility, it is mandatory to sterilize him/her to avoid the overpopulation of animals. In addition, you must vaccinate them, buy their food and give them a space in your house that is only for him or her. In this way you will have a healthy and happy pet.
The sale of animals is a business that has been increasing in recent years and has become a very cruel way to earn money because they treat animals as objects, force them to reproduce and do not give them the care or love that they need and deserve.
Adopting is giving a new life to a noble soul who will always be by your side to take care of you and accompany you.
