Three Wands made of Drift Wood
Three is an auspicious number, related to growth and change. Many spiritual systems talk about a trinity, where we have a masculine, feminine, and a unified principle. It could be yin and yang, shiva and shakti, or whatever else works for you. In the tarot the number three card is the Empress, she is the fertile feminine principle that makes all things grow. Three is abundance.
Wands are Magical Tools
Let’s weave a little magic into our lives today, do something symbolic even if you feel a bit silly about it. It could be drawing a little rune or a pentagram on a post it note, or in the bathroom stall. It could be wishing someone well and sending out your thoughts. Let’s not underestimate our magical abilities, and take a moment to trust and believe like a child would.
The Fire Element
Wood is the fuel for fire, and wands/rods in the tarot is also the element for fire. Fire is the essence of life, it means being inspired with the energy to seek and to do. We say people have a lot of fire if they are passionate, or maybe angry (misdirected fire). These are not the only kinds of fire though, there are subtle kinds of fire. You can have a gentle fire in your heart that illuminates your life, this fire is not destructive it gives life. Fire can catch on to other things, and if we have the good kind of fire then we can spread it. Through being who we are and acting in the world we can help light other people up. This is marvelous capability that humans have, we can share our inspiration and energy around.
The Beach
The beach is a beautiful place with the great energy of the water, the rhythmic sound of the waves calms and balances the body. Getting into the water is also very good for the human being. Symbolically the beach is an inbetween place that links two realms, in this case the land and the ocean. Which two worlds do you go between?
Love, Light, Auspiciousness to you my friend
