Let us start this post with a famous Bruce Lee quote...
You must be shapeless, formless, like water.
When you pour water into a cup, it becomes the cup.
When you put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle.
When you pour water into a teapot, it becomes the teapot.
Water can drip and it can crash. Become like water my friend.
Bruce Lee
Become like water my friend... :)
Sometimes life finds ways to make us rediscover our passions
and most times it happens when we least expect it.
Life is just teeming with possibilities...
When we opened this account,
we kept our options open as to what type of content we would be posting
because we are two people with different views
(most of you know that we are a couple, Seb and Elaine, mr and mrs Phil :)
When you put the two of us in this teapot, it becomes philodendron.
When you pour philodendron in the teapot, well who knows what could emerge?
Human interests are just too varied to restrict to one niche.
A niche is a word that sounds a bit off too, in French it means a dog house or kennel...
Being chained to a "niche"... Non merci!!!
We both love music but still we would have never guessed that one year later
we would have composed and posted over 20 songs on here!
Creating is essential and exhilarating: the energetic peaks we have,
those moments filled with intangible electricity, a connection to the fizzle,
to "the making of" rather than the outcome.
Will it be perfect in the end? Probably not but it was fun!
Music is one of the intangible things.
You feel it or you don't. Sometimes your heart connects with what you're doing,
and it feels great. Other times you put hours practicing and there's a disconnect
nothing comes out of it... You just have to go with the flow.
A mind is like a parachute. It dosen't work if it's not open.
Frank Zappa
Having spent most of our summer working, now the fizzle is ready to come back out!
As you may have noticed, we have not been as active on here as we would have wanted to be.
Now things are slowing down and it feels good to have more time to come back to the creative bubble.
Work is just part of the game but it takes up a lot of time and energy thus not leaving much for creative projects.
We have a few songs we've been working on, a few covers too and a whole lot of posts that have been piling up during the summer that we will be sharing with you soon.
Sending lovewaves to all!
Until next time:
The main thing is to be moved, to love, to hope, to tremble, to live!
