Bisket Jatra celebrated by people of Madhyapur Thimi,Bhaktapur is one of the Greatest Festivals of Madhyapur thimi,Bhaktapur,Nepal.

This Bisket Jatra is celebrated according to Bikram sambat,the official calendar of Nepal.

On Baisakh 1st of every year(second day of Jatra),Jatra takes place at evening in Siddhikali Temple(Starts from 5pm).This Jatra is known as Bya-li-siya Jatra.

On the Baisakh 2nd (last day of Jatra),Jatra takes place at Balkumari Temple at early morning(8AM-11AM). This Jatra is Known as Sutha-Siya Jatra.The khaths(palanquins) are gathered around Balkumari and are revolved around the temple by the participants playing with sindur,singing and dancing in the tune of Dhimey Baja.
