I have this ridiculous little quirk: I celebrate half birthdays. It’s something my dad has encouraged since I was tiny. It’s followed me to adulthood, and I practice this with my kiddo.
For my half birthday (yesterday- the 23rd), I went to work (I love my job), I had best friend time ❤️, and I ate Thai while watching The Punisher (a Marvel Netflix series). Life was good!!
My little man (age 9 and almost a half) was a bit surprised that our half birthdays are so close. He knows are birthdays are two days apart 🤷🏻♀️. It was cute. This is the kid that was describing the St Elmo fire phenomenon in terms of how nitrogen, oxygen, and lightning react. He’s growing into this amazing person. He’s wise beyond his years. He has the biggest heat. I couldn’t be more proud of my little sunshine!
