Hive account@steepshot community and Steem Blockchain. I’m out spreading wood chips today around our 105 fruit trees and along our winding pathways in our 1/4 acre food forest here in Southern Utah. Wood chips grow trees!!! Well...they grow the fungi and bacteria that create the soil that grow happy trees and plants. In this series of photos you can see how the chips create a nice dark layer around the trees. Layering as a top layer and not mixing it into the existing soil, just layers like lasagna. :) we collect the chips from a local tree grinding place the pulverizes local trees and landscape haul off into fresh wood chips! Lol we are still out spreading and the sun is going down soon...but it feels grrrrreat!! Stackin wood chips feels like stackin steem and powering it up! The feeling of freedom!!! I love doing it with my family...and sharing it with all of you! So many of us can do this and hack/modify our urban terrains to provide abundance for us and others! We testify!!! :)
