Finding truth for me is a daily endeavour, not general truth likes facts like water being wet or the sky being blue. More truths of myself like how I feel in any given moment about any given thing.
An interesting term that I came across some time ago expresses the total content of experience in a given moment, that is all sensory input and feeling that results from it. The word is qualia and for some reason it has always stuck with me. The idea that I might be able to wrap up my experience into a nice little ball and express it to another in simple terms...Of course this isn't really possible, we can get glimpses across but never the whole.
So I sit here gearing up for more work on the rights management portal for muse and listening to deftones, I contemplate my place in life and what it means to me.
I have a new partner in my life she is vibrant young and full of energy, which I fun but can be exhausting sometimes as well...She asked me if I could really handle her, and when she did I kind of chuckled wondering to myself if I really could. Then again there is only one way to find out.
It is nice to have a partner, someone to depend on and not have to wonder if they will be there, with how fickle life can be sometimes it is good to have someone I can depend on.
