I can only remember answering the work phone and hearing my girlfriend telling me she was just in a bad car accident with our babies. I instantly imagine our car on it's side and the babies screaming for mommy. I run to the manager and tell her that Jennifer and the babies were in an accident, and she tells me to take off.
So I'm running home to grab our second car and I start to cry. I don't want to think too much, but I'm worried. I can't remember driving to the accident.
This is the car that ran a red light and hit my family
I was so relieved to see with all her pieces and both my babies were still asleep in their car seats. Amazing that my two babies slept through the accident.
Our little XB has seen better days, but had a lot less damage than the big boat that t-boned it.
I was so relieved to see the babies safe and sleeping in their car seats.
When I pulled up to the accident, I saw most of the occupants of the Lincoln getting into ambulances. I heard that they didn't have proof of insurance and the driver had warrants.
The driver of the Lincoln received a citation for running the light, but it won't bring back the little Scion XB that I enjoyed driving.
Cars can be replaced or repaired, but mommy and babies can't be replaced.
I'm , and I'm so happy that my almost 2 year old son is kicking on me as I write this post.
