What I can annoy myself about is that if I want to send someone a message, I get the feeling to communicate with a horse, reindeer, rabbit, cat, a whole family, a landscape, a house, a car, a parakeet, an airplane a cow, the sea, and so I can go on endlessly.
Some who have a profile photo of themselves put on strange caps, draw mustaches on their profile photo and so on.
I think, in my humble opinion, that's just weird as shit.
No rules for a profile photo
Of course you can decide for yourself what you want to show as a profile photo. That is fine of course. There are no rules for it. But I think few people realize the impact on how others see their profile picture.
People communicate with a person, you!
I expect to communicate with a person. Not with your favorite animal. Not with your company, with you! In person!
Especially when people know you personally through business contacts.
Your family
You have dear children, that first of all, of course, and your wife or husband is the coolest pear on earth. You're happy with that, that's the way it should be .... just not as a profile picture for god sake!
If I want to send you a message, my intention is to send it to YOU.
At least, If you want to let others know that you are proud of your family and that they are important to you, make sure that you are prominently on that photo. In the middle.
