Senior leaders of the party have returned from front of the gate without getting permission to meet the prisoner BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia.
Today, on Saturday (June 16th), several senior BNP leaders and party leaders and workers of the party did not get permission to meet Khaleda and they did not meet with anger.
BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said the incident is sad. He alleged that Khaleda Zia was kept in jail due to the will of the government. He said that the party chairperson will be released with the movement.
Zia Orphanage Trust Khaleda Zia is facing five years of her sentence in corruption case. He has been in jail in Nazimuddin Road of old Dhaka since February 8.
Eid party has no program because the party chairperson is in jail. The party leader ordered the workers to stand in front of the prison, the central BNP This is the BNP's program, said senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.

Asked about the reasons for not entering, petrol police inspector Al Mamun Bhuiyan told reporters that the BNP has requested to meet BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia yesterday. However, no licensing of the prison department came to them. BNP leaders were not allowed to meet for this.
