There is no one, irrespective of their colour, race, social status and background that does not have have a unique gift. I read about the story of a young boy that was born with autism but his is also a savant and has outstanding mental ability. He is also talented in artistry that he can look at a scene and replicate it on a canvas from his memory - what a gift.

While growing up, there was this particular boy around the neighbourhood, going through school was like a major challenge for him. He could not go through college, not because his parents could not afford to send him to school. As a matter of fact, he changed many schools but would fail out from all of them. At a point, they got tired of putting him through school and receiving "F".
His parents wanted him to be a barrister, they too were barristers and his other siblings were professionals in various academic fields but he was like the odd one out. However, in the midst of all these, he discovered he was very good in sports (particularly football). Even in street soccer competitions, his dribbling abilities were insane.
One day, a local football coach was driving by and was drawn by locals playing street soccer, he saw the amazing footwork of the guy, he was impressed and he parked his car to watch him play. The guy did not know that someone was watching him but he put up an amazing performance and even scored the only goal of the match.
After the match, the coach approached him and engaged him in a discourse. Short of the story is, he was absorbed into his club's football academy and he went on to become the star player of the club. He performed so well that another bigger club signed a contract for him in millions and now his is a national hero.

In all fairness, life itself has deposited into everyone various gifts but you are the one that should discover yours, work on them and make yourself better with them. Just like the story of the guy I gave earlier, he had gifts but he constantly sharpened the gifts with street soccer and he got better with his skills. Your gift will remain in its dormant form until you take responsibility to work on them.
