There are so many things I never say out loud, many scars that I mask,
Until they grow into forest of trees within my tiny body
Every time I swallow tears, thick branches start,
bearing fleshy fruit and trembling leaves
When I choke on untold words, the roots tug at my heart,
burying themselves deeper and deeper into wild grass
I have a massive forest full of vibrant stories to tell ;
You know,
Inside my body grows a forest of things that I never say out loud
