Now steemit has already got popularity over internet, so isn't a good idea to attract advertising company to here.
If you open steemit page both left and right side of pages have huge blank spaces... If advertiser can display Thier adds in those spaces definitely steemit can earn a good revenue from that...
So in that case the profit amount can be distributed to the bloggers and some amount can be used for the development of the platform..
The success behind any blogging site highly depends on the quality of content a creator adds... Once a creator gets a good reward, he or she will get motivated and will add better and better content..
Through this the popularity of steem will go to moon and we all will be benefited from this..
This was my point of view and may differ from yours..
