Looking at my Blockfolio, BTC is down from 23% of my portfolio to a record low of 19%. BCH is down from 17% to 14%. The sudden rise in Ignis has something to do with that, but even if we count that out the number is 20,5% and 15,5% for BTC and BCH respectively.

Along with many others I've been predicting the rise of the "alt" coins, or as I prefer to call them - utility tokens. These are the companies, the businesses and the brilliant ideas that people are finally able to put into life, thanks to the Blockchain technology. Many of these "coins" will out-compete many of todays businesses. Perhaps Steem will kill Facebook. Maybe Powerledger will disrupt the energy sector. Maybe Wabi solves problems with counterfeit goods. And perhaps something like Substrateum will decentralize the entire Web.
You may very well own the next Apple stock
Who knows. Maybe you're sitting on the next Alphabet or Apple stock? I certainly am. I know for a fact that among my soon 60 different coins, a couple will be worth an insane amount. There's no question about it. The only question is how you manage your money. Do you sell in panic every time there is some FUD? Or do you zoom out and look at the macro perspective, the fundamentals? I know I've been saying this so many times - but it's so important. Like just now - take a look at the markets. We're at $611 billon again, shooting for new highs at $650. I thought we would go for that until after New Years, but hey..don't mind new ATH's on new years eve.
What a year it has been
Roadmap..
January: I bought my first real Bitcoin(s) (I only had Bitcoin ETF's up until then)
March/April: Bought Ethereum and Litecoin
June: Found Steemit
July-august: Bought IOTA, EOS, started learning how to use wallets, understanding the different exchanges.
September - December: Continued buying coins weekly, mostly from Steemit profits.
I can't believe how my life got turned around this year. I was doing OK before, but boy has my focus shifted. I've been allocating most of my time and energy in the Crypto space - mainly because this is where you need to be now. I have abandoned some other projects which I had spent a lot of time on - but hey, that's just what you have to do. You chose to focus on what is most fun, and what is most profitable.
This blog started out with a little of everything. A little bit of racism (joking) , a little bit of pictures, a little bit of cryptos, a little bit of alt-right, a little bit of psychology and rants and just all over the place basically.
It has over time turned into a Crypto/racist blog (as my brown friend likes to call it), and I joke around with that as well. That's my image on Steemit. The Crypto-racist :) But jokes aside. I do write about two things I am passionate about. Crypto currencies and business/economy in general. AND objectivism and rationalism. And you just can't escape getting into immigration, hate against white males, liberal lunatics and taxation is theft. I'm sorry.
But, Steemit has shown to be a place of true diversity and opinions and a lot of love. I believe that's due to the fact that it's a capitalist place. If you don't like what I have to say..don't read my blog. You can profit so many other places.
And I must give some homage to everyone who disagrees with me - I have YET to experience a downvote. I know that perhaps some would do that, but they can't risk it because I have more SteemPower. And that's the way it's supposed to be. I have also never downvoted anyone, even if I think they are 100% retard douchebags. Although I have began to flag spammers. I just feel like that's the right thing to do. To show those people that we reward real communication and engagement, and that those who do that earn, while the spammers..will learn! (The hard way)
And what? 1400 followers? True Vikings doesn't bow their head, but I'll give you a little nod. Thanks :)
Let's hope 2018 will be even better!
