A couple of days ago, I took my son on a day adventure. We drove to Tombstone, Arizona, a place famous with wild west history including enormous riches from the mining as well as tragedies from unrequited love.
During our trolley ride, we stopped at 113 East Safford Street and heard a tale that this is truly a haunted house. Apparently, a young miner named George and his childhood friend Petra grew close and decided to marry. George would mine for extended periods of time and the two would be separated. One evening, when he returned Petra left a party with another man.
In retaliation, George shot Petra multiple times and then shot himself. Miraculously, Petra survived and lived a very long life. However; George is said to have harbored grudges and continues to haunt this home til the present.
Do you believe in Haunted Houses or is it just folklore passed from generation to generation?
