Yesterday was a rainy day and we decided to explore Guaymas by driving around town. We were very surprised at the level of poverty throughout this city.
We saw women operating a tiny mini mart in the neighborhoods and lines formed to buy small convenience items.
Most of the homes were mere single room habitats and often quite rudimentary.
There were many dogs wandering the neighborhoods and you can see that most people rely on their feet or public transportation to get around.
