As I wrote in some of my previous posts, I started to partecipate at a short class about the intuitive tarots and the teacher is one of my best friend, a very nice woman and a creative person, but I've never talk to you on why I started to go to this class. I was searching a way to help my imagination to stay up and, at the same time, working all the time at home, I needed to have some moments to spent in a different place with different people. Different "inputs" from different people help me to stay motivated on my work, to have new idea, to "live" my creativity sharing different experience and skills. It's complex. Work on art it's not simple as many people could think. It's not made just by some brush strokes on canvas or similar. Work on art is more than this and every artist knows that the moment when you give some brush strokes on the canvas is just a step of a longer process.
Like for other creative jobs, the mind needs to be fed and every artist has his/her own ways to do this.
I wrote this to explain why, when my friend Cecilia talked to me about her class, I decided to partecipate and now I can say it was a good idea!
You have to know that here in Italy when we think about tarots we think just about some strange woman who talk to you about your "fabulous" future, who say to you that you'll marry with a beautiful prince and you'll be rich soon. The intuitive way to read that cards is almost unknown here, so, when Cecilia talk to me about a class to learn about this "use" of tarots I think "Interesting!". She learned about this way to use tarots some years ago thanks to some teachers from different countries, especially from Uk and since 3 years she organize class about it.
It was (and it is) a very nice experience! She give me some advices on where I could find some informations and books about it, all in English because there are not source in italian language (fortunately, thanks to steemit my English is really better than one year ago!) for example a book of Rachel Pollack where she wrote about the archetypes represented on the cards that it's very interesting to read.
Cecilia collected many different cards from different artists and I have to say that I started to collect them too because some decks are simply beautiful and really inspiring!
I'm using the deck "The wild unknown" by Kim Krass because (as you know) I love animals and I like so much her illustrations on the cards, so I can use them to "talk with myself", to help my thoughts to be more clear and it's work for me, maybe because the visual communications it's always a nice way to "talk" with yourself. ^_^
In the past lesson Cecilia talked to us about different decks of Oracle cards that we are using in the intuitive way (not divinatory way, don't worry ^_^) and I watch really some great illustrations on that cards, wow! I couldn't resist and I bought 2 fantastic decks full of beautiful illustrations and thoughts inside of them!
Well, it's time to go on the sofa and watch a nice movie on the tv ^_^
See ya tomorrow!
