We made it today! I asked for help from a friend, and he asked his church if they would come help and we got 10 extra sets of hands!
Here is the new location, and the building in the background is the church who was kind enough to give us a place to feed the homeless:
We had 345 people come through the line today that was down by about 10%. That's not bad considering we move locations. The new people that came to help today want to come
The line went around the corner to the left:
We had 14 rosters of food today plus salads and other stuff we actually had a little left over. Nobody left hungry!
Here is our line:
Even though everything was upside down today, everything ran pretty smoothly. We had trouble electrically until we got the load balanced on our generators. The new people didn't understand generator loading so I had to rewire a bunch of stuff on extension cords.
Overall very good day the new location worked well we had a little wind protection which will enjoy in the future. The homeless were glad to find us, and they enjoyed eating today we had quite a selection.
The new people were from a Mennonite church and they're wanting to bring food also. I told him that was fine and then if we had any leftover food it goes to the Denver house to feed the Homeless there.
I'd like to thank everybody that prayed for us that really made a difference, thanks! It came together beyond what we could possibly hope to do!
