Why does a person go to church, in order to put a candle on the health or the peace of the deceased? The Lord says: "pray for the living"! Spiritual growth of a person is not related to the time of being in the church. People are usually like children, and the baby is not able to live as an adult.
1 Corinthians 13:11
"When I was a child, I spake as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child: now that I am become a man, I have put away childish things."
Consider a child.
- A baby has a mess everywhere: in the family, with money, with work and in service.
- There is no sense of danger
- Does not understand difficult things. We must learn to understand spiritual things!
- Do not know how to communicate with people
- Love toys
- Quarrels without a reason
- Can not take care of others
- They argue about which of them is more (who is more important)
- They can not build anything.
- There is no practical solution to problems
- they do not see the future, they do not make plans
1 Corinthians 14:20
"Brethren, be not children in mind: yet in malice be ye babes, but in mind be men."
To grow, you need to change your thinking, develop it. If you think like a successful person, then you will become it!
1 Corinthians 3:1
"And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, as unto babes in Christ."
1 Peter 2:2
"as newborn babes, long for the spiritual milk which is without guile, that ye may grow thereby unto salvation;
