A Washington-based animal rescue group Cuddly Catz has launched a rehabilitation program that places "death row" cats together with inmates at Larch prison. To protect the cats safety, prisoners have to be in jail on nonviolent offenses which means no crimes against other people or animals. They also need to have a record of good behaviour for the last six months.
I really like the idea of this program and think we should do more of this. What do you think?
