Since I started riding freestyle mountain bikes, i was fascinated in the backflip. Usually if you try them the first time, you jump into a foampit so you didn't get heart. But in Germany 2009 there were almost no foampits built. So I waited for the winter and tried to land softly in the snow. Later that year I decided to just bring it to dirt. That's how I learnt backflips by try and error.
