Today is going to be all about losing weight.
I have made a post about how to gain weight already for those who struggle to get more numbers on the scales. It sometimes sounds easy when people say they strive for more weight because people think it´s simple to eat just a bunch of food. But it can be as hard as losing weight if you have an extreme metabolism.
Today I want to share some tips and tricks to feel better while losing weight.
I have never struggled with overweight and I think it´s because I do a lot of sports since I was 3 years old. Luckily I have an incredible metabolism process because I love to eat good food and I do not count the calories.
But I know for a fact that many, many people are trying to lose weight but most go with the wrong diet. They get promised to lose weight very fast but this wont work in a long run. You still want to enjoy the life and feel good about yourself and this is actually possible.
Tips to lose weight in a healthy way
Do not eat after 6 pm !
You probably heard this sentence before..
Well, actually this makes sense to me. Not exactly 6 pm but choose not to eat at least 2 hours before you go to bed. The body doesn´t produce food as fat cells just because the clock turned 6 but eating at night is actually linked to weight gain. But I don´t want you to fight when you are still hungry. Your body doesn´t know what time it is and you probably did not eat well during the day which is why your body claims to be hungry now! If you are someone who strives for food during night time, this happens because you haven´t ate enough during day time. I recommend to eat a good breakfast with a bunch of stuff that you like because you produce energy in the morning which will use up during the day...
Do sports!
Nutrition is the most important thing when it comes to a diet but in order to live a healthier lifestyle and turn the fat cells into muscles, you need to work out. At least 2-3 times a week! Choose something that is fun for you such as basketball, football, running, jumping, lifting weights or something that you really enjoy doing. Before you start to gain muscles, you are going to burn the fat cells which helps you to lose weight immediately. It is important to have no excuses and keep going to matter what. Do not quit even if you reached your goal.
Change your nutrition plan!
As I mentioned above, nutrition is the most important thing when it comes to a diet. You can do a lot of sports but you wont reach your goal if your nutrition is still the same. Unhealthy foods have a lot of bad fats and oils which is not good for your body. Whole grains tend to add more heaviness to your body even if it tastes good. A lot of calories aren´t good for you either. You have a specific amount of calories which your body turns into energy everyday but if you keep eating it even if your needs are satisfied, you are going to gain weight!
Drink a lot of water!
This probably sounds weird to you. Why should drinking water help me to lose this heaviness on my body? If you drink ice cold water, your body needs to work harder to warm it up, therefore it will burn more calories and will help you to lose weight! Also try to drink before you eat because water is an appetite suppressant, drinking it before meals can make you feel fuller, therefore reducing the amount of food you eat.
Sometimes we feel hungry but it is just some kind of pain in our stomach. We actually don´t know if it´s the need of liquids or if we should eat something. Try to drink water in those kind of situations because we often are only thirsty which our body signalizes us as a feeling of hunger!
Natural helpers!
I´ve read so much about pills and supplements to lose weight but I am totally against those artificial supplements. They maybe help you in a short term but never in a long run. You put stuff into your body where you do not even know what´s inside!
🍋 I recommend lemons! Lemon juice helps your body get the nutrients it needs to burn fat into energy and stop weight gain!
🍵Replace your regular tea/coffee with green tea! It has a big range of antioxidants that help the body break down foods, and help in losing weight! The catechins in green tea are very good for burning fat, because they free fat from fat cells.
❗️It is very important to turn these tips into habits and do not stop when you reached your goal because you want to stay with your new weight. You should change your whole lifestyle. Of course you could have a cheat meal but not too often and not too much of it.❗️
I hope this was helpful for some of you and one last thing that I wanted to mention is that you should never feel bad about yourself even if you ate 2 or 3 cheat meals in a row. You are doing your best to get to your aspiration and making mistakes is normal. Do your best and never lose the motivation even if you do not see results in the first place. You first start to feel it inside your body and later on you will see it on the outside. It takes time to naturally lose weight but this will last forever!
