The Steemfest 2 is over and I am now finally able to tell you a little bit about what happened!
The first location for the opening drinks was truly magical but the location for conference day 1 was still on a higher level! We arrived just in time when the speeches started that we wanted to hear. The architecture was totally stunning. I couldn´t imagine a better place in Lisbon than Centro Cultural de Belem. I captured some pictures to give you an insight of the whole event.
The speeches were pretty interesting and it was nice to see some familiar faces that we have only seen online. But we did not just listen to speeches, our COO of Appics , 
There were actually many speeches in two different conference halls at the same time so we couldn´t attend all talks. But there were a few interesting ones such as from 
We also had some lunch in the same building with snacks such as Natas, fresh fruits, sandwiches and Portuguese appetizers. Now was time for some talks on the hallway while everyone was meeting outside of the conference room.

While everyone was enjoying their food, we went outside and found the most beautiful view from Lisbon that I have seen so far. It was located at the harbour and we were able to enjoy the clear blue sky which was totally beautiful!
We decided to join some more speeches after this. There was also a livestream of every talk and you can also reload the video to see the whole conference! We didn´t expect that we will have a dinner so we shortly went outside for some drinks and got surprised with gourmet dishes. The location was literally making me speechless with the wonderful sunset, palms and amazing people.

Even though we have seen so many faces at the opening drinks, we met so many other Steemians which wasn´t ending until the closing dinner! It was a pleasure to finally be able to talk to everyone in real life. So many amazing souls, crazy characters and interesting personalities have finally met at the first conference day. The speeches were great and I had no Idea that almost everyone is talented in talking in front of so many people. We got a lot of informations and knowledge through out the fest and I am so glad that I got in touch with these lovely people! First official day of Steemfest was definitely a success!
