Cisco Systems Inc. Is buying BroadSoft for $ 1.9 billion to expand its business in the field of telecommunications technology.
Cisco will spend $ 1.9 billion to buy BroadSoft since 1998, which now sells over 500 software and communications services around the world and has millions of buyers. Based in Gaithersburg, Maryland, BroadSoft provides telecommunication technology services for businesses, mobile services, video & audio for live streaming sessions or conferences.
BroadSoft's focus on small and medium businesses will further boost Cisco's network sales. The deal is expected to be officially announced during the first quarter of 2018.
