Our dear country turned into the animal kingdom
Animals are taking over
They are ruling with power
Our dear nation
Rats chased the President
Out of office
Handling the mantle
Of the whole nation in chaos
Snakes and monkeys
Swallowing the naira
Meant for the citizens
Leaving us hopeless in despair
What will happen next?
What else will we hear?
What other animal will give us misery?
We need freedom
From the dangerous animals
Ruling our nation
We need to be free from the pain and sorrow they caused.
This is the state of my country. The impossible keeps happening. I don't know whether they think we are illogical or they feel they can do whatever they like. My heart breaks for my country. My heart weep. I know it will get better. I know the future is bright. I know we will smile again.
Our leaders have no shame sometimes. You see them laying bad precedents for youths coming up. You see them fighting in the National Assembly and whatever decisions they make is never without selfishness.
I believe in this country. I know problems like this exist everywhere, and it only differs with how deep rooted the problems are. We shall rise again. I believe.
