Nigeria Fellowship of Evangelical Students (NIFES) is a non-denominational Christian organization established since 1968.The ministry has over the years remained committed to its vision and mission statement as stated below:
Vision statement: “To be a movement of Christ-like students in Nigeria tertiary institutions transforming the campus and society upon graduation”.
Mission statement: “NIFES exists to reach out to students through evangelism and discipleship training; to mobilize them upon graduation to impact the campus, church and society with Godly values.”
In pursuit of the above vision and mission statements, NIFES adopts the following strategies:
Evangelism, Discipleship, Missions (Village Outreaches), and leadership Development among students.
In furtherance of our commitment to meet our objectives, each year hundreds of Christian Students from tertiary institution in Minna Sub-Zone are being exposed to missions, where we go out to villages to preach the gospel. This year’s edition hopes to host 150 students across Minna Sub-Zone from Thursday 14th June – Sunday 17th of June 2018 with a target of reaching out to 2500 people. Our theme for this year mission outreach is “ANGWAN MANGORO FOR CHRIST”.
It is in the light of this that we are requesting your financial support towards the mission budget of Five hundred thousand naira (500,000).
