My Plans, Dreams, Hopes & Aspirations (Vol. 2)
I´m looking for Freedom, not financially but in regards to time. I´m simply not made to sit in an office from 9 to 5 but I can´t live without work neither. Yeah, it sounds strange but I grew up seeing my Dad working independently, where and whenever he wanted and I think that´s the reason why I strive to achieve the same.
My Plan is to quit the 9-5 job to work as an independent contractor, which would on top allow me to accept new challenges whenever I got some time to spare and am interested into the task. I could finally make my dream come true, my dream of being free to decide on how to use the time I´ve got and where I want to be.
Especially today it´s possible to work remotely from any place that´s offering an internet connection, so I simply don´t see the necessity to sit in an office for 8 hours, 5 days a week without even being productive all the time. I´m actually pretty useless in the early morning and the first hours after lunch but can work like crazy in the evening...
So why shouldn´t I take the chance to change my life and work as an independent contractor instead to achieve my lifelong dream of working whenever I feel like it, while I can enjoy the hours of the day that I´m definitely not really productive?
