Once I said to a friend of mine "You know, I get a bit insulted when men appraise my appearance. I guess it's the brain that should exite rather than long legs or a small waist".
I am really thankful to Mother Nature for not being one of those attractive long-haired girls walking on high-heeled boots in some office. I know that I will never be invited to some company to play the role of "expensive" but useless furniture". The fact that I will never get paid for my appearance gives me an opportunity to be more objective, my victories are the result of hard work, not the consequence of a short skirt.
Anyway, men love beautiful girls though the factors that make a girl pretty are different in the eyes of men and women.
That became clear for some days ago when a friend of mine showed me two pass-photos of a usual girl. We conducted a poll and the result was astonishing: 90% men chose the photo to the left and 100% women chose the photo to the right. Unfortunately, I can't show you the photo still I can describe it.
To the left: long-haired sleepy girl, no make-up. To the right: the girl moved her hair to one side of the head and made them silky, some make-up.
The conclusion was quite easy to draw: women create the conditions of beauty regardless of what men really think. If we turn to the recent trends, it becomes clear that they originate from female minds, not from what men say. And so... A logical conclusion. Women try to follow the beauty stereotypes created by themselves to show other females that they are better. That is easily a brainstorm, an attempt to curb other women's potential.
The only way to withstand the mass brainwashing is to stick to what you feel to be right. Listen to what your beloved says, not to what is written in fashion magazines.
