Another year older, another year wiser they say.
I've never been a fan of birthdays, but I have to admit that in my 22 years of life, this has been the first birthday of mine that I did not look forward to.
The past 5 months have been one of the darkest of my life.
My mental health has collapsed like never before, and so did my physical health.
I had to stop school and work altogether.
I want to adress this, because health is truly the greatest wealth.
It's the most important thing we have in the end.
And once you lose it, you recognize how precious it is.
Also, I want to thank so much personally each person who takes their precious time to read what I write and to write genuine comments post after post. (you know who you are:))
You might not realize, but it really does make a difference in my life.
You guys are my friends.
So today is my birthday (march 10th) and I decided to write a bit about what life taught me in the past 22 years of my existence.
Once again, thank you so much for taking your time to read me!❤︎
It means more than you know! -xxxxx-
Life taught me many things in the past 22 years of my existence.
I'm taking these couples minutes to share the wisdom.
Health is the greatest wealth and it's the most important thing in life. It's the only gift I wish for myself and for every other human out there who needs it most.
The fragility of life is a simple enough reminder to take nothing for granted.
Cherish every day you have, because no one knows how much time we have on here, and not everybody leaves at the same time.
Never stop telling the ones you love how much you love them.
Don't let the media dictate how you should feel or live your life.
The grass is never greener on the other side.
Don't bother worrying about what other people think of you.
They're probably already worrying about what you think of them anyway:P
We're all gonna turn into dust someday!
I hope that you find a peace of mind, and that you carry it with you everywhere you go.
Until then, let the presence of now take power into your life and most importantly, if there's one advice I can actually allow myself to give (without sounding like I know it all:P because I really don't) is to be kind to everyone you meet and everyone around you, always. This world only needs more love, compassion and kindness, and that's what I will keep on doing until my last day on this crazy rollarcoaster journey called Life.❤︎
Oh and the last thing I want to share with you today is this picture of mini Sab.
Whenever I feel like giving up, I go back to this picture as a reminder.
I remember this day like it was yesterday.
He was my best friend at the time.
He was so sociable, he would actually follow me everywhere and run with me in the forest behind my old house.
Animals are made of magic.
And they embrace the true definition of unconditional love.
Happiness is homemade:)
I hope this picture brightened your day:)
Share the love everywhere around you -xxxxxx-
