Since I lived in a monastery years ago, I'm still an early bird, completely voluntary. I like to get up early and meditate for half an hour or so. As a bachelor, I'm alone in my house with a few pets, my guinea pigs. Especially in the summer it is wonderfully quiet and because I live in a small village with 600 inhabitants it is also quiet on the street. No cars or trucks, only the birds that sing.
After my meditation it's time to make breakfast for the guinea pigs and myself. My breakfast is usually half a liter of coffee with butter, coconut oil, milk and honey. The guinea pigs get pieces of carrot. Another important part of my breakfast are a few cigarettes and my laptop.
Reading the newspaper, view cryptocurrency markets, watch some youtube vlogs and so on. Sometimes I go straight outside to breathe in the fresh new day, I appreciate the new beautiful day and count my blessings.
I only have to work at 08.30 but these first hours of the day are very important to me. In this way I start the day well and as we say in the Netherlands; A good start is half the work.
Have a nice day and thanks for reading.
