Why we do that?
So many things to do around us, but we are so passionate to our worries! Sometimes, it really seems that we are enjoying that. But is it really thing that totally worth it?
Case study
There are basically two types of worries:
- We are afraid of something that might happen
- We are sorry that something already happened
Well, both types are totally useless and here's why:
- It is pointless to worry about something that might happen simply because that won't change anything. If you really trying to avoid something, just apply some actions to prevent it and that's it!
- If something had already happened, do something to minimise the harm!
- Being in worries makes you nervous and sad, right? The more you worry, the less you have time to engoy your life. And life's short. We don't really have time for making ourselves suffer. Stop that, please unless sufferings make you happy (heard somewhere that such stuff is possible, but I consider it sick)
- When you worry, you cannot be objective. That means, your actions might be not really adequate. This will certainly lead for new troubles.
Solution
Every time you fell worries, try to be rational and logical and put emotions aside. Breath in, breath out. Calm down.
Ask yourself few questions: what's so special about this (upcoming) trouble? How can I avoid it?
Do something instead of just worrying! Because physical work will calm you down (and that's proved) or thinking about the solution will drag your brain's attention from the problem itself.
Now you're calm and cool-headed. This is the best state for tackling any problem.
Problem doesn't seem impossible to solve now, right?
