Life is amazing. It has its own shares of up and downs for everybody.
About 8 years back, I had my own lows in life - both personal as well as professional and I really had a hard time getting out of it. At that moment I realized that possibly, there are things which I should NOT be doing.
And I wanted to then speak to anyone and everyone who is in depression about things which are not working in his or her life. To mentor them, to guide them with my own limited experiences in life, to encourage them with stories which I have observed in and around me, to boost their spirit with lively things which can become their anchor when they think they are getting drowned in a fathomless ocean of desperation, sorrow and pain.
Life is not a positive parabolic curve that it will keep going up and up and up once it gets started.
For my friends who are not so familiar with a positive parabola, here is what I meant. Please ignore the mathematics and numbers and just have a look at the curve which keeps going up in the first quadrant.

Everything which starts, has an end. Everything which rises has to fall and those are rules of nature.
So then, you might ask, I need my life to be simple - I don't need extra happiness, I don't need extra pain. Then your lifeline will look like this, possibly.

There will be no life.
Life is defined by ups and downs. Life will give. Life will take.
What matters is how you react when life has given you in bounty. And how you react when you have nothing.
You have to have faith. You have to trust.
You have to act. You have to NOT give up!
True - sometimes we do not have any idea what life has in store for us. We have no idea where life is leading us to. We think that all the doors have closed in on us and we are desperately seeking what we want and we are frustrated that it is not happening.. it is not happening in the way we want it to happen. May be because there are better things planned. There are better things in store. May be, that is what God's plan is all about.
We often complain about what we have NOT got in #life. Here is an awesome video which is a must see. It talks about God's Plan VS our Plan. And it puts things into perspective.
The story is about a person who is possibly stranded in a desert, is thirsty and is searching for water to drink. See what happens.
We can easily draw an analogy to what we want to get from life, what we strive for and then stop getting worried by hardships coming our way.
Amazing way to explain the power of the hands which guides us, with or without us knowing.
The bottomline is having Trust.
Have #Faith. Take advantage of what you got.
Start where you are. Use What you have. Do what you can. - Arthur Ashe. & Then have faith!
What do you think? Does this all make sense?
Cheers
