what is the price of success?
I have been wondering about this recently. Some people are lucky enough to be successful on the first try and others not as lucky. They have to work and sacrifice things they love to achieve success, missing family time and important goals in kids lives to be able to make a success for the future. Let me invite you into my life for moment . My husband works in the IT industry and for the past month he has been constantly working even at home. He went into the office on a Saturday and even toiled threw a Sunday. He worked so hard he started to experience insomnia and night sweats. This because he had a project or projects he had to deliver. This dedication has made him successful in his job.
Success cant be bought with a few dollars it has to be earned threw hard work and dedication and perseverance. The price of success is sometimes our health and family life and our social interactions with other. My husband said something quite profound and extremely sad yesterday. 'You only live until you have kids and then after that you work and provide without any happiness . you become a drone in society and you(who you are or use to be) are dead and lifeless.'
Dont get it wrong he loves his kids but i see him and he is not who he use to be but then again neither is any of us we all change according our success. Dont envy those that have success we dont know what they have sacrificed for that success. Dont look down on those that dont have success to your standard they might have more than you think.
